流於指間的深沉，轉化成我的文字(Music-Licious)

wow！這隻MV真是太出乎我意料之外了！原本新生代實力派美少女Ariana Grande助陣Mika的新歌Popular Song其實早在去年底就推出單曲發行
不過直至今日才正式推出音樂錄影帶，更甚者的是他是在Ariana Grande個人新作品"The Way"獲得主流銷售好成績之後
引起全球注目度，再推出這新版本的單曲音樂錄影帶作宣傳，只能說真是太會挑時間！！

Mika本身就是個王子大帥哥！又配上公主般的Ariana Grande，
導演Chris Marrs Piliero，作品有拍攝過錢婆的Blow、阿蘭的"I Wanna Go"...等MV的鬼才導演，
這次為他們拍攝成一個有趣、類提姆波頓Tim Burton風的暗黑風格，
腹黑王子跟公主報復班上那些排擠他們的同學，調製毒酒給他們喝下、石化以後消滅他們報復，



結果Ariana Grande公主最是腹黑，還把童年曾經毀壞她城堡的老兄Mika也偷偷暗算進去，
果真是美麗協惡壞女人啊！！！張無忌老媽可是有好好交待，越漂亮的女人越不可以相信啊（大離題




其實這首歌本身就如mv當中所闡述的，也就是Mika求學時期也遭霸凌過的心得，
出生在戰火漫天的黎巴嫩的他，從小顛沛流離的在學校間與學校間轉學度過，所以也曾經遭受過種族的排擠
即使如此，他還是寫出一首這樣可愛的歌，雖然被霸凌，但還是要真實面對自己，
就好像在對自己的性向、種族...等喊話一樣，鼓勵著所有他的樂迷。

只能說這首歌被他們詮釋的太可愛了！還有拍出這樣可愛又淘氣的惡搞風格MV，
算是很意外的一個好作品！可惜Mika這張專輯在主流榜中沒有他以往的成績力度，
但還是不可置否的可以認定這是一張好專輯！

After finding “Elle me dit” a few months earlier, I fell in love with Mika’s latest album, The Origin of Love. The music video has just been released for the second single off of the album, “Popular Song,” featuring Ariana Grande, whose own single, “The Way,” has recently rocketed up on the charts. Directed by Chris Marrs Piliero, the clip is a Tim Burton-esque dark rendition of two misfits, Mika and Grande, who are bullied and decide to brew a concoction to turn their bullies into stone, with a surprising twist at the very end. Based on Mika’s own childhood as an outcast and “Popular” from the musical Wicked, “Popular Song” takes a stand against bullying and urges people to be true to themselves. In contrast to the album version, the single version is much more similar to Mika’s “Grace Kelly” with a rearranged production, sped up tempo, and altered lyrics without expletives that fit Ariana Grande’s pop vocals in place of Priscilla Renea’s hip hop rendition. And while both versions are excellent, the catchy single is certainly more radio-friendly with bouncy beats, Grande’s charming vocals, and Mika’s signature falsetto. Mika’s duet with Grande is definitely stuck in my head, playing over and over again.
